Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Meridian ("Service", "we", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service description

Meridian is a data maturity assessment tool that scores organisations across DAMA-DMBOK pillars and generates PDF reports. Assessments are for informational and planning purposes only and do not constitute professional audit, legal, or regulatory advice.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and have authority to bind your organisation where applicable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Meridian is currently available by arrangement. To discuss access, pricing, and the right plan for your organisation, book a strategy call or email hello@meridiandata.io.

The Service, including its software, scoring methodology, and report templates, is our proprietary property. Generated reports are licensed to you for internal use within your organisation.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Assessment scores are based on the information you provide and should not be treated as audits or guarantees of data quality.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Unused credits are non-refundable upon voluntary account closure.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
